Sejarah singkat penubuhan HAPPY CHAPTER.
Setelah sekian lama Sigma Phi Omega menyepi, Pada 18th november 2006, Sigma Phi Omega, melebarkan sayapnya dengan menubuhkan chapter yang diberi nama "happy chapter", yang bertempat di salah satu kawasan di bandar Sandakan. Walaupun kewujudan Sigma Phi Omega di sabah khususnya di Sandakan telah wujud pada awal 80-an, namun tertubuhnya "happy chapter", telah memberi nafas baru serta menjadi perangsang kepada Sigma Phi Omega fraternity and sorority, untuk terus memperkukuhkan kewujudan Sigma Phi Omega di Borneo.
Tertubuhnya "happy chapter" hasil dari kesepakatan bersama oleh 8 ahli Sigma Phi Omega, yang di kenali sebagai "organizer" dalam istilah fraternity and sorority.
Pada tarikh penubuhan "happy chapter" seramai 9 orang yang telah di terima mejadi ahli awal Sigma Phi Omega fraternity and sorority di bawah "happy chapter", sekaligus mereka merupakan perintis di chapter tersebut.
Di awal penubuhan "happy chapter", penerimaan masyarakat amat mengalakkan, di mana pada bulan pertama penubuhannya, Ianya telah menjalani seisi pengambilan ahli baru (initiation) sebanyak 38 kali dalam masa sebulan. Ianya juga merupakan satu pencapaian yang luarbiasa dalam sejarah "initiation" Sigma Phi Omega fraternity and sorority, bahkan juga pada fraternity dan sorority yang lain, yang mana telah berjaya mengumpul 518 ahli baru.

After long retreat Sigma Phi Omega, On 18th November 2006, Sigma Phi Omega, widening wings with established chapter called "happy chapter", which is located in one of the areas in Sandakan. Although the existence of Sigma Phi Omega at Sandakan in Sabah in particular has existed in the early 80s, but the establishment of "happy chapter", gave a new lease and a stimulant to the Sigma Phi Omega Sorority and fraternity, to further strengthen the existence of Sigma Phi Omega in Borneo.
Establishment of "happy chapter" results from an agreement with the 8th member of the Sigma Phi Omega, which is known as "oraganizer" in terms of Sorority and fraternity.
At the date of establishment of the "happy chapter" about 9 people who have accepted early became a member of Sigma Phi Omega Sorority and fraternity under the "happy chapter", thus they are pioneers in the chapter.
In the early establishment of the "happy chapter", community acceptance is encouraged, where the first month of its establishment, it had undergone whole new member recruitment (initiation) of 38 times in a month. It is also one of extraordinary achievement in the history of "initiation" Sigma Phi Omega Sorority and fraternity, but also in other Sorority and fraternity, which has gathered 518 new members.
